Introduction to SVUK

Standards Verification UK (SVUK) has a vital quality improvement role within the lifelong learning sector by operating verification services across the UK. In particular, it has a regulatory responsibility for endorsing initial teacher training qualifications in the learning and skills sector in England and in Wales.

SVUK works on behalf of government departments and other stakeholders. Additionally, it offers a commercial Quality service. Standards Verification UK is part of the sector skills council, Lifelong Learning UK.
